Friday Random Video: A New Kind of Bicycle for Dentists?Dentists, are you looking for a new form of transportation to get you back and forth to your dental practice?

If so, I may have found just the bicycle for you.

It’s called the “Fliz Bike.”

Germans tend to be very proud of their engineering creativity, but will they be just as proud of this latest concoction?

The new bicycle was recently designed by German engineers looking to create a ride that incorporates both running and biking.

According to Yahoo News, the new Flitz Bike is actually based on the world’s first bicycle, called the “Laufrad,” which also worked without pedals and was created by another German, Karl Drais in 1817.

The bike designer’s goal was to create a more environmentally friendly form of transportation, but the prototype revealed so far leaves many scratching their heads as to how this bike is better than a conventional bicycle.

Not to mention how you have to be strapped into it…
