Science Friday: Global Dental Science to Open $5 Million Plant in Arizona

Not all dental products are being manufactured overseas. In 2012 Global Dental Science LLC is opening a 27,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Scottsdale, Arizona and expects to create 150 new jobs.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports that the company will manufacture a new product, AvaDent Digital Dentures, at its new facility. The dentures are made using laser scanners that take precise measurements to create a custom-fit digital prosthetic.

Global Dental Science, LLC is a dental innovations company dedicated to improving dental procedures and outcomes through Process Automation.
